My Life

Welcome to my crazy life

I have quite possibly the craziest, busiest life ever right now.  Don’t get me wrong, I love my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My typical week looks like this:

My crazy life

I LOVE color coordinating.

Blue: classes

Purple: meetings

Orange: appointments/groups

Red: work/exams

I also have multiple calendars. My DOG has his own calendar!

Green: Louie

Orange:Birthdays

Maroon: Bills

Grey: Patrick (his is a “shared” calendar I can see but not edit)

My calendars make look crazy and people who see them think I’m insane but to me it is the best way to organize. It’s easy to focus in a certain time period and know what I need to do and when. It also crosses over to my planner but it’s not color coordinated as much. I do have different colors but it’s more to make it pretty and I do not keep times in my planner either. I know I over-commit myself to things and that’s fine. I love my crazy life.

      1. Thank you. I use that, too but the colors dont show up very well. That’s why I was asking. I color code as well; it really does help.

      2. I had to make multiple calendars to get enough colors for everything. It was kind of annoying at first but once I got used to it, it was easy to use and keep everything organized.

  1. I love this post! I used Google Cal all through law school (color coded, of course) and did the same color scheme in my personal academic planner! It was definitely the best way for me to stay organized with multiple jobs, student org events, class, and studying. Best of luck!!
